So What Is A Green Renovation?

More and more people are talking about green products, green building, and now even green renovations. So what does "green" mean? If a customer asked you to do a "green" renovation for them, what things might you offer to include in the job?

Environmental friendly products and proper re-cycling and different things to lots of people including me.Is a vinyl window Green???Asphalt shingles???Some say use metal roof to be "Green"but it cuts down the green in customers project

It would seem that "Green" products...or products the are generaly aggreed upon to be "green" in nature are those that have a high content of post consumer or post industrial recycled content, can be effectivly recycled at the end of the products useable life or have a minimal (or regulated) environmental impact in terms of manufacturing (harvesting) and end use. Products that can be demonstrated to fit into any of these loose criteria might be percieved as green by the end consumer.
